The RimStar Smart is fit for digital production environments. If required, a “smart” interface connects plant technology and automation. Furthermore, the optional ClosedLoop control system of the output rate ensures optimum component quality. An additional RFID interface for mold recognition makes working extremely efficient. In addition, thanks to SmartAssist, KraussMaffei is able to provide quick and expert support if service becomes necessary – online or on site.

Operate from wherever you want

The mobile HMI with castors, equipped with a 12” glass touch display from the latest generation, therefore provides for flexible operation. It is even possible to work here with precision while you are wearing thin gloves. The panel has a protection class of IP 65, and its end-to-end glass pane makes it resistant to scratches and also chemicals.

The design of the user interface is also intuitive. The menu screens display the most important parameters at a glance, and the configurable quick access toolbar makes everyday work more effective.

Additionally, a control panel at the mixing head with a 4-inch color touch display provides support in manual foaming processes, and a shot time countdown ensures increased comfort and process control.

Space-saving and flexible

It fits in any space. With a footprint of 4.8 m², the design of the metering machine is therefore extremely compact. Furthermore, the optional swiveling mixhead boom can be extended as required. When installed on the hall floor, the perfect place for it is either in front of the machine or to the side.
